Physical Education

I graduated in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Physical Education.  My first teaching position was at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic School in the Milwaukee area.  From there, I moved on to a Physical Education teaching position at St. Joseph’s in Waukesha.  I am currently teaching part-time at St. Joseph’s in Big Bend and part-time at St. Joseph’s in Waukesha.

I believe Physical Education should be something fun for the students, but it also needs to teach them how to lead healthy lifestyles now and as they get older.  Physical education should also educate the children on the various strategies, rules, and regulations of different sports.

During the baseball season I work for the Milwaukee Brewers as the mascot Bernie Brewer.  I work all of the home games and also participate in special events such as parades, charity events, and the Brewers Baseball Camp.  I have been with the Brewers for 20+ seasons.

My hobbies include spending time with my son Charlie, my wife Sherri and our English Springer Spaniel Butler.  In my spare time I enjoy musky fishing, playing softball on a recreational league, golfing and volunteering for Special Olympics.  Also, I love watching the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Bucks.
