4th Grade

Education

I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language Arts. Since graduating from Madison, I have been a substitute teacher, experiencing many different grade levels and subjects. I am so excited to be here at St. Joseph’s School teaching fourth grade!

Philosophy

I believe that all children should have a safe and positive learning environment in which they can reach their full learning potential. In order for students to excel, learning must be fun, engaging, and catered to the students’ interest.

It is important that the focus is on the whole child, creating a place where all students can achieve their social, emotional, and academic goals. I believe in preparing students to thrive outside of the school setting and become active members of the community. Once students have a strong grasp on important skills, they can take themselves wherever they wish to go in their lives. I hope that I am able to share my passion for learning and inspire my students to become lifelong learners.

Interests

I am a huge Badger, Packer, and Brewer fan! I love all things Wisconsin! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at our cottage on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend, WI. I also enjoy traveling, baking, and trying new things.
