2008 St. Joseph's Funfest  Schedule

The following is a summary of scheduled activities at this years St. Joseph's Funfest.  Please come and join us, bring your family and freinds for a great time with a great parish! 

FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY: August 8, 9. 10, 2008  
             Men's/Women's Softball Tournament and Volleyball Tournament
             Farmer Fred's Hayride
             Inflatable Rides
             Games and prizes for 'CHILDREN' of all ages
             Home cooked dinners, dancing, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, and refreshments
             'YES - WE CARE' - Designated Driver Program: Free Soda to persons over
              21 years of age who will not drink alcoholic beverages with friends while at the FunFest.
The Big Bend/Vernon Lions Club will be accepting your used hearing aids and prescription glasses for re-use.
 

FRIDAY:  5:30 PM to Midnight - August 8

              Athletic Association Fish Fry 4 PM - 7 PM 
              Indoor Soft card at 7 PM (1,000 prize), 8:30 pm "Progressive BINGO"  Air conditioned
                   Music: THE TOYS  7PM - 11 PM   "IN THE BIG TENT"
 
SATURDAY:  4 PM to Midnight - August 9

              Huge Parish Rummage Sale 2PM to 6:30 PM
              Volleyball Tournament
              Softball Tournaments continue 8 AM to 6 PM
              St. Joseph's Gospel Knights Singers 4PM to 5 PM
              CHASIN MASON 7PM - 11 PM  "IN THE BIG TENT"

SUNDAY/FAMILY DAY: Noon to 8:00 PM - August 10

             10:30 AM Funfest Mass on the Grounds  (Bring Your Own Chair)
             St. Joe's delicious home-made Chicken Dinner, with all the "home-made fixins" :  Noon - 5 PM
              Huge Parish Rummage Sale- Noon to 6 PM
              Volleyball Tournament- Finals
             Softball Tournament Finals 
             Music:  JEFF WINARD POLKA BAND  Noon - 3 PM  "IN THE BIG TENT"
             BRITINS-BEATLE TRIBUTE 4PM - 8 PM  "IN THE BIG TENT"
             Raffle Drawings - 8PM
             Softball Trophy Awards
 
PARISH RAFFLE: The drawing will be held on the grounds 8 PM - Winners will be notified.
                                     
Map and Directions
 
Short 15-minute drive from Hales Corners by taking either Hwy L to Big Bend, or I-43 or National Avenue west to Hwy 164 to Hwy L, turning left to St. Joseph’s.  It’s only 10 minutes south of Waukesha on Hwy 164.
